Active Members
Those who have obtained certification with ARDMS ( American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers ) or other profession's nationally recognized registry body, and are employed or practicing diagnostic ultrasound in their respective field of specialty. Members of this category are allowed to hold office. Cost of membership is $20 a year or $5 per meeting.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
Those members who have not met the category of Active Members. Cost of membership is the same as above.

Student Members
Those who are enrolled in a recognized full time training program for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Cost of membership is $15 a year or $3 per meeting.

CORPORATE MEMBERS
Businesses who sponsor the society's meeting once a year which would include manufacturers or distributors of ultrasound equipment, accessories and publications, recruiters, and institutions providing ultrasound related education and training. Cost of membership is $250 a year.
