The Greater Dayton Ultrasound Society started in 1984 with just about 10 members who, at that time called themselves The Greater Dayton Vascular Society.

Through the years, the society acquired more members and was renamed as The Greater Dayton Ultrasound Society and presently has about 150 active members. Currently, the meetings are held every 3^rd Monday of the scheduled months (September, October, November, January, February & March) at 6 PM to 8:30 PM, at the Dean Amphitheater of Kettering Medical Center located at 3535 Southern Boulevard, Kettering, Ohio 45429.

Currently, GDUS is entitled by SDMS to award 12 CME’s per year or 2 CME’s per meeting.
